Drawings from series “The Vulnerable”
Drawing is a direct and spontaneous action that children resort to the first years of life and which first people on Earth also used on the walls of the cave to depict stories about their everyday lives. Drawing techniques can also be very complex, and I use charcoal, chalk, pencil, ink, soft pastel, oil pastel and others to create depth and dynamism while keeping close to the subject and its fragility.
Tegning er en direkte og spontan handling som barn tyr til de første leveårene, og som de første menneskene på jorden også brukte på huleveggene til å skildre historier om deres hverdag. Tegneteknikker kan også være veldig komplekse, og jeg bruker kull, kritt, blyant, blekk, tørrpastell, oljepastell og andre for å skape dybde og dynamikk mens jeg samtidig holder motivet og dets sårbarhet, nært.
